By learning the basic concepts of Sankhya yoga, namely the 23 elements of experiential content and its witness consciousness, you can learn to feel into your true self.
Mantras are sound frequencies designed to thin the veil or coverings which make it difficult to perceive, appreciate, and relish the true Self.
The guide or Guru is the fastest means towards Self-recognition.
Watch the play of experience as it unfolds before you and allow your attention to fall into itself.
Slow down and balance your breath to equal parts inhale/exhale.
Always return to your awareness during daily action.
Don't look for a Self beyond your own Self.
Istha-deva yoga or connecting to a particular Self-Expression through Bhakti yoga.
Right action and right speech prevents emotional experiences from bewildering you out of your innate clarity, try to keep your ethics and moral principles.
Patience, devotion, dedication.
