An ideal of perfect balance
A yogi sees the external world as a manifestation of his internal state, a projection of inner conflictions, a tug of war between the higher and lower natures, and the tension between the masculine and feminine.
In this day and age, I find myself in the process of recognising these external experiences on a global scale as being in synchronicity with my own inner struggles.
In the Bhagavata Purana of India, Sri Krsna is portrayed as the supreme expert of living artistically and compassionately alongside the structure of truth, discipline and order. He is an ideal student, a bosom friend, a naughty child, and a helpless romantic who charms his consorts with his expert flute playing and artistic style and dress. Wearing the symbol of attraction, the peacock feather, he attracts all with his charm and wit
I notice the flow of information coming at me which resonates deeply with my need for structure and discipline. A pattern of being that is structured, regular, and disciplined helps me avoid my natural tendencies for melancholy, isolation, and depression. Yet, I am also aware of my heart's desire to express compassion and become more empathetic to the needs of others, to hear the pain and suffering of others, and to try to do something about.
I see these themes springing up in the world today in the politics of conservatism and liberalism., in the ideologies of religion and free spirit movements. The patterns seem very ancient and very embedded in our psychology. The struggle of balancing yin and yang, or as Jordon B Peterson has put it "Chaos and order" are at the heart of human endeavour both individually and collectively.
I am not resolved in my being, and therefore neither is it resolved in the collective. The Yogi understands that each individual is reflected in the other, so, therefore, taking up the mode of the Bodhisattva, a yogi resolves to liberate himself from this tension, and finally balance the equation of being, ending up in true yoga, Samadhi.
That state of being in which all things are perfectly harmonised is the proper understanding of "Krsna consciousness"

In contrast, in the Mahabharat, he is portrayed as an expert in ethics, law, morality, and even transcendental knowledge, revealing his godly status to a few worthy and devoted friends but never lording it over them.
His very name contains these ideas when analysed from a Sanskrit perspective according to the rules of grammar and sandhya-bhasa(twilight language, a form of code), an analysis best explained in depth elsewhere.
My particular message that I feel I am trying to flesh out is that the world needs to adopt a symbol that is both appealing and enlightening. A symbol which carries the same redemption as "Christ" and the same discipline and order as "Allah" balanced perfectly with artistry, deep compassion, beauty, and love, nay eros, which appeals to our humanity.
Never have I seen a conception like Krsna, perhaps he is factually the perfect embodiment of the true nature of reality, with all its dark mysteries, glittering prizing, sweet melodies, romance, heroism, fraternity, and wisdom.
I know these ideas may seem far-fetched to many but to those who understand how to play with ideas and really dig into them, I challenge you to investigate the symbol and personality that is Krsna, you may discover something truly worthwhile, and capable of balancing the world as it moves closer and closer to true and terrible chaos.
