A yogis code

I am entering the willing adoption of responsibility.  The struggle to bear the burden of my suffering willingly, in order to relieve the world of my personal share of suffering.

I am entering the first phase of my genuine manhood, and in doing so, I find my true sense of purpose.

This is my dharma. My devotion to that which sustains me.

If I fail to grow and adopt the path of Dharma, I will surely crumble under the weight of life's tragedy,  the reality of suffering and my fateful demise.

In order to perform my Dharma, I must ensure I keep what is wanted and exchange or burn what is not. This is Artha, the science of economics and trade. I must trade fairly and ensure I offer substantial value to the market in the hopes of receiving increased value in return. I am trading my time, my knowledge, my experience,
hoping to set the minds of the masses towards higher frequencies such as Truth, Self-awareness, Prema(Divine love).

I must be always careful, to regulate my personal habits, my indulgences, my pleasures, my Kama,  lest they cloud my judgment and give rise to sufferings which I no longer wish to endure. It is not so much that I must avoid pleasure but I should always ensure the pleasure I seek does not jeopardise my dharma, artha or moksa.
Thus, I should not be diverted from my purpose to pursue mindless indulgence, but indulge to revitalise the pursuit my purpose.

After all is said and done, I must remain detached, knowing full well the final destination of this life is death. I must awaken to the reality of being, which transcends life/death duality and recognise the true meaning and purpose of life.  Yogis understood the goal of life was to become liberated from the wheel of time, the cycle of samsara, the perpetual game of life and death.

This is my liberation, my Moksa.

Yet, since even in my liberation, existence keeps going on.
Life and death the mere two-faced nature of Reality as it is.

I have learned to see that the occupation of the liberated, is Love.

Love for reality, love for life, love for death.

Love is worth existing for through eternity and infinity.

Love that is situated in the infinite, is infinite and full.

This love for totality, expressed in the form of service uninhibited by egoistic preference or selfish interest,  is unconditional and uninterrupted.  Yogis call this zenith of love Prema.

I adopt the paths of dharma, artha, kama, and moksa only in service to Prema.

This is my code, my structure of being, assignment of value, and call to life.

I  am sharing this in the hope that this helps you evaluate your life according to these five attributes,  so that you may devote yourself to your life fully and extract the highest value from it, pure love.
